ImproveIT Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior/Architect Google Cloud and AWS Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will drive the design and delivery of world-class cloud solutions, providing expertise on cloud and virtualized infrastructure services. You will play leading role in the engineering practice, finding approaches that enable rapid adoption of new services and driving transformation for client’s business and IT processes. Your responsibilities will include partnering with business-led development teams to implement cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing hands-on experience to drive process improvements.
- Planning, organizing, and controlling multiple responsibilities to achieve project objectives; technically guide projects through to completion.
- Ensuring deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high quality.
- Validating security policies in code.
- Implementing cloud and virtualized environments for both cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Understanding and leveraging IaaS and PaaS services offered on cloud platforms (GCP experience preferred, but AWS and/or Azure are acceptable).
- Ensuring all solutions follow security and compliance controls.
- Cultivating a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery mindset.
- Troubleshooting automation issues and finding practical solutions that move projects forward in a timely manner.
- Constantly learn and improve solutions for our customers.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or four years of equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
- At least 5+ years of IT technical experience.
- IT operational experience in a corporate environment.
- Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple time zones.
- Positive attitude, willingness to constantly learn, and embrace challenges.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and enhance team performance.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with sufficient technical capability to effectively communicate with engineers, scope technical programs, and identify technical risks.
- High attention to detail and initiative.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects and programs with cross-functional teams.
- English level – intermediate and higher.

- Testing and analyzing for edge-cases.
- Having very high-level coding standards.
- Breaking the complex problems into smaller, manageable tasks.

- Splitting the solution into separate tasks that make sense for better planning and estimations.
- Managing your workflow and informing about your progress.
- Informing DEV managers if there are any issues, blockers, or unexpected problems.

- Helping with architectural decisions.
- Helping with a technical feasibility analysis of new features.
Required skills:
Must have (advanced level or more):
- 5+ years experience in software development;
- Experience with Node.js;
- Experience with Modern JS (TypeScript, ES6/7, reactJS);
- Experience with Relational DBs → MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB;
- Experience with NoSQL DBs → MongoDB, Redis;
- Experience with Git.
Good to have (intermediate level or more):
