We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with experience in software development projects, particularly in outsourcing environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements, as well as supporting discovery and pre-discovery phases. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and facilitate Discovery Sessions with clients.
• Create and maintain BA artifacts, including traceability matrices, functional specifications, use cases, UML and BPMN diagrams, and acceptance test plans.
• Document business processes and project scope.
• Identify and analyze project stakeholders.
• Conduct competitor analysis to support business decisions.
• Work collaboratively with the Customer and Project Manager to create user stories and functional requirements.
• Identify, track, and prioritize changes to requirements and manage the backlog.
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers to enhance user experience and interfaces.
• Facilitate requirements prioritization and ensure traceability.
• Establish and monitor requirements management processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create low-fidelity prototypes to validate concepts.
• Conduct user research, including persona development, user journeys, and user testing.
• Define acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements.
• Evaluate potential software solutions, including existing and open-source components, to ensure alignment with business needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1.5+ years of experience in Business Analysis for software development projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
• Experience in using management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Hands-on experience in writing business and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with epics, user stories, and backlog management.
• Knowledge of UX principles, prototyping, and sketching.
• Proficiency in notation systems and business process modeling (UML, BPMN, ERD, Context Diagram).
• Experience with elicitation techniques, including workshops, document analysis, and interviews.
• Ability to analyze competitors and market trends within various domains (retail, e-commerce, CRM, ERP, etc.).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with clients and stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of BA standards (PMI, IIBA, Enterprise Architecture).
• Experience with data analytics methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

• English level: Upper-Intermediate or Advanced (no compromises – ability to communicate fluently and document requirements effectively).
• Strong ability to prioritize and justify business functionalities to clients.
• Expertise in forming and documenting BA artifacts.
• Ability to crystalize business ideas together with clients and structure projects effectively.
• Experience in working on active projects and seamlessly integrating into ongoing workflows.
