Our customer is a blockchain technology leader, focused on building solutions for a decentralized financial ecosystem. By leveraging Bitcoin’s infrastructure, it develops advanced second-layer protocols, as well as user-friendly software and hardware solutions
Project stack: C++, AWS

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• 3+ years of experience in Bitcoin development, including work with Bitcoin Core, Lightning Network, or Bitcoin-related infrastructure.
• Strong experience in C++
• Test-driven development (unit tests, end to end, etc)
• Designing, implementing, and using APIs (RESTful, Websocket, RPC, etc.)
• Development and operation of back-end infrastructure and sysadmin tools
• Design of scalable, distributed back-end architectures
• Cloud development and deployment (AWS or GCE)
• Experience with system/software architecture
• Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of tasks, drive development initiatives independently from the outset, and deliver results without the need for close supervision.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience contributing to Bitcoin Core, BIPs, or open-source blockchain projects

Responsibilities:

• Working with different programming languages and varied tech stacks
• Building and maintaining robust solutions using your high-level expertise and solid understanding of low-level systems to seamlessly integrate our technology with end users as well as existing third-party systems
• You will design, implement, test, deliver, and support software in a continuous integration and deployment environment
