As a Cloud Solution Architect at Span, you will be responsible for designing comprehensive cloud architectures that meet the unique needs of our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, create robust cloud strategies, and guide the implementation of these strategies. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment and integration of cloud solutions, driving business value, and fostering innovation.

What you'll do:

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Develop detailed cloud strategies, including migration plans, cost estimates, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the cloud adoption lifecycle, from initial planning to deployment and optimization.
• Ensure cloud solutions adhere to best practices in security, performance, and compliance.
• Create architectural blueprints, design documents, and implementation plans.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends and incorporate them into architectural recommendations.
• Mentor and coach other engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Engage in pre-sales activities, including client presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.

We could be a perfect fit if you have:

• Extensive experience as a Cloud Solution Architect or in a similar role.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, networking, and security.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
