How exactly you can influence the development of the Company:

• Organizing the work of a team of 5+ analysts (Junior, Middle, Senior)
• Prioritizing requests, estimating workload, managing SLA for analytical requests
• Organizing team efforts to support product domains: deep feature analysis, A/B testing, building metric trees
• Developing and controlling the reporting system
• Initiating and implementing high-impact analytical projects (LTV, retention, segmentation)
• Implementing and maintaining best practices (report templates, documentation, reproducibility, versioning, documentation)
• Mentoring analysts, conducting code reviews, helping with development planning

Challenges for three months:

• Auditing the analytics team: distributing, prioritizing tasks
• Establishing a framework for prioritizing incoming requests and progress tracking
• Implementing regular 1:1, code reviews, mentorship practices
• Launching initial initiatives to increase transparency in task execution
• Providing proposals for simplifying access to analytics for end users, growth area recommendations

Challenges for six months:

• Giving recommendations for restructuring teams into feature-teams (as needed)
• Ensuring team task delivery within established SLA
• Creating analytical templates for typical requests (retention, conversion, metric tree)
• Identifying and eliminating major bottlenecks in interaction processes between the analytics guild and stakeholders
• Proposing at least 2 initiatives with significant business impact (e.g., new segmentation, pricing optimization, churn prediction model)

To achieve the results, you will need:

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, including 1+ years in a lead analytics role
• Being skilled in team formation: hiring, onboarding, developing, giving feedback
• Experience in setting goals for teammates, conducting 1:1 and performance review
• Managing team resources, overseeing priorities and controlling outcomes at the process level
• Being confident in SQL, understanding ETL/ELT processes, having practical experience with BI tools
• A deep understanding of product metrics and funnel logic: retention, conversion, activation, LTV, CAC
• Strong soft skills: communicating, facilitating, being able to “sell” insights

Certainly, we will teach you, but it’s good to have:

• Experience in working with dbt: building models, using staging/source/marts layers, testing, documenting
• Experience in working with product/marketing teams in Agile environment
