The Lead (senior) Copywriter writes original content for the email and other digital channels for e-commerce brands. This role manages multiple client accounts and leads a team of copywriters, overseeing workload, client expectations, and training and onboarding.
The Senior Copywriter coaches and mentors copywriters to improve their copy skills and acts as a supportive cheerleader for the team. Working alongside the Creative Director, Senior Designers, and Client Services Director, the Senior Copywriter is a team player comfortable working collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

• Writes engaging, well-crafted, human-sounding DTC copy for email, landing pages, and digital.
• Leads creative client calls and assures brand voice and tone are consistent for client projects.
• Partners with designers, copywriters, and email marketing specialists for client success.
• Hires, evaluates, and trains copywriting staff.
• Reviews & edits content created by Copywriters as needed.
• Creates internal training materials and is constantly looking for ways to improve internal processes.
• Research relevant industry topics of identifying new content.
• Collaborates with Designers to develop visuals.

Required Skills And Experience:

• Agency and/or in-house experience, specifically with DTC communications.
• Ability to prioritize work effectively while staying poised and professional in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Versatile and can work on various deliverables across various channels, brands, and verticals.
• Understands how copy and design work together.
• Proactive – Asks the right questions, reaches out to others as needed, and takes responsibility for delivering the highest-quality work on time.
