Position overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer with deep expertise in Golang, who will take ownership of the full development workflow from understanding business needs, creating tasks, writing and testing code, through to deployment and monitoring. This role requires strong autonomy, proactive communication within the team, and the ability to deliver reliable, scalable solutions in a modern cloud environment.
This position operates according to the CET time zone.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver complex backend systems using Golang, ensuring high quality from design to production.
• Design, implement, and maintain event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka.
• Manage and optimize AWS environments for scalable and reliable service deployment.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate provisioning and management.
• Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes clusters, and build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Write comprehensive tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

• Strong in-depth knowledge of Golang.
• Experience delivering complex backend systems from design to production.
• Solid background with Kafka and event driven architectures.
• Hands on experience managing AWS environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of deploying and operating services in Kubernetes and building CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
• Proven ability to ensure quality through comprehensive testing.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Self-driven, able to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Nice to have

• TypeScript/React for occasional front-end contribution.
• Familiarity with AI tools and APIs (Claude, AWS Bedrock, Copilot).

• 5+ years of full-stack web application development experience, including 4+ years with C# and JavaScript

• Proficient understanding of Git version control
