We are looking for a talented and passionate Front End Software Engineer to work full-time at Friendly Technologies’ R&D office in Kharkiv on various projects. You will have an opportunity to make a large impact on the design and implementation of cutting-edge products in the area of IoT and Smart Home industries.
The job includes:
- Migrating the old user interface from .NET to the new interface using .NET Core + Angular.
- Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative system solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation.
- Work with new technologies that are vital to product development.
- Perform tasks including debug, Beta, and production software development.
- Successfully collaborate with both software and hardware product teams.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or 4+ years of relevant work experience;
- English – Reading and writing technical documentation in English is required, good spoken English is an advantage;
- Professional experience in software development building production software systems, 3+ years;
- Experience with developing rich single-page JavaScript applications;
- Knowledge of Angular 2+;
- Knowledge of RxJS, NgRX;
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript;
- Understanding OOP, OOD in JavaScript;
- HTML5, CSS (SASS, Flexbox, CSS Grid), Bootstrap 3/4;
- Backend integration experience – REST, Web-Sockets.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Data analysis and debugging skills;
- Experience working with MySQL and Oracle;
- Experience with Angular Material;
- Experience working with C# – MVC, WebAPI;
- What you’ll be doing;

- Creation and improvement existing of the packages/projects/environments.
- Orchestration management of the containers/images and related things via Kubernetes, Swarm, and cloud tools.
- Training support department for customer-ready hard-support.
- Improvement of internal CI/CD environment for development.
- Deployment of cloud platforms.
- Work with internal bug tracker systems on investigation and migration of integrations.
Required qualifications:
- Jenkins (CI/CD).
- Experience working with high load environments, balancers, Kubernetes.

What you’ll be doing:
In projects, you will introduce yourself in web services, SOAP messages handling (TR-069 based on SOAP’s communication), and SyncML messages handling.
The main tasks in project development are performance, clustering, and heavy loading produce.
Required qualifications:
- Strong OOP approach for development-related processes JDK 8+ development, 3+ years;
- Understanding of Front-end and Back-end entry points *(HTTP[s], REST, JDBC);
- DBMS MySQL or Oracle;
- Spring framework family experience: MVC, security, data, JPA, boot *(we don’t expect you to be expert in all of these);
- Application server understanding: Wildfly/JBoss;
- Understanding transport layering *(TCP/UDP);
- Version control experience: SVN or Git;
