Gunzilla Games is looking for a data-driven gamer who lives and breathes shooters. As our Product Analyst, you’ll analyse player behaviour across OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Extraction Battle Royale shooter, currently available as Early Access on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series X|S, and PC and work closely with design and dev teams to shape gameplay, balance, and live service performance. Your insights will help create smoother progression, fairer matches, and more rewarding combat experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse in-game player behaviour, combat stats, progression, and match data
• Work with designers to evaluate weapon balance, map flow
• Track and report on core KPIs (retention, win/loss, K/D ratio, churn, etc.)
• Build dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking (Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc)
• Support planning for new features with data-backed insights
• Help define and document requirements with dev teams
• Assist in live service analytics, including patch impact and seasonal performance
• Create clear reports, dashboards, and actionable insights using KQL, Power BI, or similar tools

Requirements:

• 2 + years of experience in A BI Analyst, Data Analyst, Game Analyst or Product Analyst position, preferably in gaming industry;
• Passion for gaming + an analytical mindset
• Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Knowledge of KQL, Microsoft Azure, or any experience with telemetry data
• Understanding of game mechanics, player progression systems, and multiplayer design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• A passion for gaming (we’d love to hear what you play!).

Plusses

• Python language knowledge
• Experience with Azure Data Explorer
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
