Your responsibilities:

- Collaborate with teammates and code, maintain product features to achieve the business requirements.
- Ensure all written code is on a high quality level, scalable, and performant according to project standards.
- Make significant contributions to feature development on client’s existing applications.
- Be a core contributor to the maintenance and improvement of client’s existing systems.
Our expectations:
- 2+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer designing and managing complex web-based applications, with a focus on picking the right tool for the job;
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Framework and SQL (Postgresql, MySql);
- Production experience with React.js;
- Experience with JUnit;
- User-oriented: thoughtfulness when considering both our growing and our legacy users when implementing new features and updates, placing them as the priority;
- Excellent communicator and team player;
- At least Upper-Intermediate level of English.
Nice to have:
- Production experience with Kotlin for the back-end developmen.

Your responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deliver highly scalable, distributed, and event-driven systems utilizing asynchronous technologies, caching protocols, databases, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs to allow our various apps across all platforms to be expanded with new functionality. The role involves collaborating with engineers across the Web and Mobile teams to ensure newly developed APIs are designed appropriately according to the technical needs of the various platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Big Data Engineers, Moderation, BI, DBAs, Operations, and Product Managers to provide data solutions that align with both product and technical requirements.
- Ensure system scalability and reliability while contributing to the development of user-focused features, enhancing the overall quality and experience for end-users.
- Work on complex, impactful problems in a collaborative, close-knit, fast-paced agile team that prioritizes quality, peer review, and continuous improvement.
Our expectations:
- 4+ years overall production experience in web development.
- 3+ years of experience developing backend applications using Node.js, including writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- 3+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as Redis or DynamoDB for managing large-scale, high-availability data.
- 2+ years of experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) for efficient data storage and querying.
- 2+ years of experience working with event-driven architectures using tools like RabbitMQ or Kafka to build scalable and asynchronous systems
- Strong understanding of building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems, with a focus on high performance and fault tolerance.
- Experience with writing and maintaining unit tests for ensuring code reliability, functionality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience with product support and monitoring like Splunk, New Relic, Consul, Okta.
- Previous experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including
- services like Elasticache, RDS, DynamoDB, S3 and EC2, Cloudformation, Terraform, Redshift Events, Lambda, API Gateway for cloud-based deployment and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Java or other Object-Oriented programming languages to bring additional versatility to the team.
- Familiarity with building React-based applications and proficiency in DOM manipulation, HTML, and CSS to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
