Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
- Daily maintenance and problem resolution, operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration.
- Assist in the design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Required skills:
- 3+ years of experience in administrating linux systems.
- Working technical knowledge of current software protocols, and Internet standards, including TCP/IP.
- Experience with one of programming languages (Shell, Perl, Ruby, Python).
- Experience of Configuration Management systems, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code including.
- Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios, Grafana, Sensu, and Zabbix.
