Опис вакансії

We are looking for a Python developer for an American HealthCare product with at least 3 years of experience and fluent English.
The project: Software for pharmaceutical companies and laboratories that allows them to manage and interact with clinical samples during research.
In fact, it's an internal system for conducting laboratory work, enabling:

• Detailed metadata recording at various stages of laboratory testing procedures.
• Interaction with external systems to gather necessary data and metadata, which are then used in executing workflows or individual steps.
• Interaction with a dashboard to display information about samples at different stages, assignment of samples to individuals, and their status based on various metadata criteria (such as project, sponsor, material, assay, and reagent lot number).
• Management and tracking of samples within the system.

Tech Stack: Python, Django, Vue, AWS, PostgreSQL
The Team: 3 Python backend developers, 3 Vue.js frontend developers, PM, UI/UX designer, Automated QA from the company's side, and 2 Python developers from the client's side.

Responsibilities:

• Writing new and editing existing APIs
• Technical analysis of assigned tasks with the PM and the team
• Writing unit tests
• Refactoring existing code (if necessary)
• Communicating with the team and stakeholders

We find important:

• 3+ years of commercial Python experience
• 2+ years of experience with Django
• Experience in using Ninja
• Skills in PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases
• Experience in using PyTest
• Skills in working with AWS or other cloud service
• Basic knowledge of application containerization using Docker
• Upper-Intermediate+ level of spoken English and Ukrainian

Will be a plus:

• Experience in building REST APIs with a complex structure and elements of uncertainty at the initial stage
• Skills in working with JavaScript and understanding how the client side interacts with REST API
• Experience in setting up CI/CD
