We are looking for a motivated Junior Python Developer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering innovative web solutions. Your first project will involve web scraping and data matching for a major US-based marketing services client, with opportunities to work on a variety of web projects. This position offers direct client interaction, giving you valuable hands-on experience with project-based communication and task management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Data Extraction Solutions: Use Python (Scrapy and related libraries) to build scripts that extract data from websites, APIs, and other online sources, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Design Data Pipelines: Create and optimize data pipelines to process, match, and store extracted data, enabling seamless integration with marketing campaign data.
• Collaborate with Data Science Teams: Work closely with data scientists to ensure data accuracy, relevance, and high quality.
• Implement Anti-Scraping Measures: Identify and apply techniques to bypass anti-scraping technologies and maintain data access.
• Stay Current on Technologies: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in web scraping, Python, and data extraction best practices.

Knowledge, skills, competencies and experience:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Python Development: Experience with Python and frameworks like Django (or similar) in a commercial setting.
• Web Scraping: Knowledge of web scraping tools and techniques, specifically with Scrapy or similar libraries.
• Database Management: Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud Platforms: Basic familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach.
• Team and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills (upper-intermediate English or higher), with a collaborative mindset for teamwork.
