We are seeking a highly experienced Lead/Principal Engineer to join our client’s engineering team and help build the core of their backend, admin portal, integrations engine, and multi-tenant infrastructure.
Client – is a company that develops a next-generation cybersecurity platform that combines AI-powered threat detection, secure communications, mobile defense, and cloud security. You’ll be building the core infrastructure of a multi-tenant SaaS system – including the admin portal, integrations engine, secure APIs, and real-time log forwarding – helping enterprise clients manage and protect their cloud environments with confidence and compliance.

Experience / Skills required:

• 10+ years of software development experience with a strong background in building large-scale enterprise systems
• Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript
• Extensive hands-on experience with API architecture, design, and development at scale
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures (experience with Azure is a plus)
• Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases: PostgreSQL and MongoDB (AWS DocumentDB)
• Strong background in enterprise integrations (e.g., SIEM, XDR, Active Directory, or similar systems).
• Strong understanding of network systems
• Exposure to Big Data platforms or strong conceptual knowledge of large-scale data pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work on complex distributed systems
• Upper-Intermediate English and higher

Nice to have:

• Experience with React/Next.js./Rust/Python
• Familiarity with Azure
• Experience or strong understanding of cybersecurity practices, ideally from projects in security-sensitive or compliance-heavy domains
• Advanced Big Data expertise

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for enterprise-grade SaaS solutions
• Lead architecture decisions for secure, scalable, and high-performance applications
• Build and scale complex APIs for multi-tenant environments
• Work with Big Data pipelines and integrate threat detection and response engines
• Ensure system security, reliability, and performance across cloud and on-prem infrastructures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mobile developers, QA, and R&D leadership
• Contribute to the development of admin portals, integrations engine, and secure communication modules
• Mentor and support other engineers, promoting engineering excellence and best practices
