We are looking for a Linux System Administrator for the company’s largest product - a cross-platform VPN service. Our product helps at least 10 million users around the world to meet their needs in cyber protection. Our goal is to enter the top 5 best VPN services in the world.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu) across a large-scale environment. You'll be responsible for managing server performance, monitoring uptime, optimizing speed, and analyzing traffic.
• Monitor the quality of services, proactively identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure seamless operation.
• Respond to and resolve server and service incidents effectively. Provide technical support to clients and internal teams, assisting them with any Linux-related challenges.
• Communicate with hosting providers, address service violations and abuse issues, and negotiate with partners to expand our server capacity.
• Conduct regular audits of our infrastructure, manage payments and renewals, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience administering Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) in a large-scale environment. You possess a strong understanding of commands, file systems, processes, and network configurations;
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and VPN principles and protocols;
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios and Prometheus+Grafana to track server health and performance;
• Proven ability to create and maintain technical documentation, conduct infrastructure audits, and communicate effectively with partners and hosting providers;
• Excellent written communication skills, particularly in business correspondence;
• At least an Intermediate level of English or higher.
• Ability to analyze large datasets, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot effectively;
• Proactive attitude, detail orientation, and strong analytical skills;
• A collaborative team player who can effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical colleagues;
• Owner-Mindset: You take ownership of your work and demonstrate a responsible approach to server infrastructure management.

Will be a plus:

• Familiarity with network VPN protocols and tools like WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPSec, and iperf for speed measurement and traffic optimization;
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTP2/TLS/DNS protocols;
• Experience with network load balancing (e.g., HAProxy, BGP protocol).
