Itera is looking for a Middle back-end developer who will work on the project for the biggest Icelandic bank. We expect from developer that he has extensive knowledge of the framework and data objects being used within and transferred from the framework, able to work in a team and take initiative based on previous guidance from our tech lead.
We built our GraphQL server using https://typegraphql.com/ , typescript project, run server on Apollo.
Your team will cooperate directly with Icelandic developers and designers to make the best banking applications in Iceland.
We are looking for an open-minded person, who is passionate about continuous self-development and can solve challenging tasks by himself.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop state-of-the-art applications using the latest and greatest technology available.
• Be part of an autonomous cross-functional team.
• Participate in shaping the product you are working on.
• Deliver high quality code.

Professional requirements:

• At least 4+ years’ experience in software development with a focus on backend;
• Node.js;
• GraphQL is a must;
• Apollo Server;
• Express;
• Experience with TypeScript;
• Unit testing;
• Curious, self-driven, and like to explore how technology can solve business/domain problems;
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher. You must be able to communicate with Icelandic team directly;
• High-level of responsibility and loyalty.

Be a plus:

• Experience with web technologies, including React and HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
• Experience working within Agile environment;
• Experience with NX and Circle CI.
