We’re looking for a Middle to Senior Delphi Developer to join a team of our client that supports global consumer and pharma brands with data-driven decision-making.
Our client is an international consulting firm headquartered in London with over 20 years of experience supporting global brands in the consumer goods and pharmaceutical sectors. They specialize in market scenario development, quantitative analysis, strategic consumer segmentation, and financial modelling. Their approach combines deep analytics with practical insights, enabling clients to make well-informed, forward-looking decisions.
As a Delphi Developer, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the internal tools and systems that power their advanced analytics and market modelling capabilities.
In this role, you will collaborate directly with the client’s development team, actively participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

What you’ll do in this role

• Collaborate closely with the client’s technical lead to enhance a hybrid manual/automated equity trading system.
• Debug and optimize existing platform features, with a strong focus on stability and performance.
• Design and implement new trading algorithms and contribute to a more intuitive, user-friendly UI experience.
• Improve concurrency handling and build more robust error management mechanisms.
• Integrate real-time data from various sources using WinAPI, WinSock, and REST APIs.
• Work with algorithmic frameworks to expand the system’s decision-making logic and trade execution capabilities.
• Own your tasks from concept to deployment, maintaining high standards in both performance and user experience.
• Stay curious about financial markets and contribute ideas to evolve the product toward its long-term vision: a modular, multi-asset platform with advanced risk management.

We’re looking for

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Delphi (VCL) and RAD Studio.
• Strong understanding of multithreading and concurrency in desktop applications.
• Experience working with financial algorithms, real-time data streams, and custom UI components.
• Practical knowledge of WinAPI, WinSock, and REST-based integrations.
• Familiarity with Virtual Treeview and TeeChart Pro or similar GUI components.
• Proficiency in working with Git, JSON, and modern debugging tools.
• Solid communication skills and a proactive, self-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable working directly with a technical lead/Product Owner in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience building or optimizing trading platforms or real-time data systems.
• A strong grasp of financial markets, equity trading concepts, or quantitative strategies.
• Hands-on work with performance profiling, error recovery, and resource management.
• UI flair: you care not only about what works, but how it feels to the user.
• Interest in evolving a codebase into something more modular, scalable, and extensible.
• Bonus points if you’ve ever designed a chart or table that made someone say “wow”
• Naming five or more dishes that include beetroot besides borshch.
