Your mission at SimScale is, together with our developers, to build and continuously improve a robust and scalable infrastructure for running our development and production services.
This means staying on top of changes in the cloud computing world, but also technologies and concepts like micro-services and containers, to help foresee the architecture and infrastructure SimScale will need tomorrow.
You ensure that our developers can efficiently and safely test their changes and put them in production, with infrastructure in place for techniques like canary or gradual releases, or blue-green deployment, and logging and metrics to ensure proper behavior of our complex service architecture. Depending on skill set and workload, you also help to adapt existing or new components to infrastructure, e.g., migrating a component to a message-based architecture.
You will be working at the intersection of a complex service-oriented web application and the world of Computer-Aided-Engineering, which brings interesting challenges of its own, such as the combination of significant computations resulting in large amounts of data, while at the same time empowering a thriving community of users to collaborate and to share simulation projects.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience architecting and maintaining the infrastructure for a complex service-oriented system;
• At least 2 years as a developer with the ability to better understand developers’ needs and how to address them;
• Very solid skills in Linux or comparable OS;
• Service-mindset: You feel responsible for keeping the infrastructure running and continuously looking for the next improvements;
• Data-driven: Knowing how to collect data, such as service or infrastructure metrics, and analyze and act on them;
• Experience with a cloud provider, especially AWS;
• Sensibility towards IT security and the topic of concurrency.

Requirements:

• Over two years’ experience as a full-stack developer (mandatory);
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/ES6, Node.js, React.js and associated dependencies e.g. Redux, Webpack, Babel, Express;
• Tools and processes common to agile development teams (Jira, Github, Gitflow, Slack);
• Integration with RESTful APIs;
• Application logging and monitoring;
• A comprehensive understanding of web performance optimization considerations and techniques;
• An understanding of the principles and practices of Continuous Delivery.

You will be a part of the team that is responsible for the quality of a huge and complex SOA based information system of a telecom provider. You will be responsible for the manual testing of mobile UI and RESTful API.
Our client is a telecommunication company that provides 4G LTE services. Work in a team of 15+ QA Engineers who assure the quality of applications on Android, iOS platforms and RESTful-services in cooperation with a back-end QA team. Altogether, there are more than 50 QA Engineers working on the projects.

Requirements:

• Higher education (technical);
• At least 6 months work experience as a mobile QA is required;
• Experience of working with iOS, Android, WP. Knowledge of guidelines;

• Experience in creating a test-design in accordance with the given UI designs;
• Experience in detecting, localization, and reporting of UI и UX defects;

• 2+ years of experience in testing;

• Experience in the integration and E2E testing;
• Defects localization, investigation, and tracking in complex heterogeneous IS;
• Linux operational proficiency;
• Experience in the testing of analytical and architectural artifacts.

As a plus:

• Scripting skills – bash, python;
• I/O performance testing tools and techniques;
• Experience working with enterprise storage systems;
• Experience working with NoSQL database systems (Cassandra, Mongo, etc.);
