Responsibilities:

• Artistic Leadership:
  • Provide clear and constructive artistic feedback to team members, ensuring all art assets meet the project’s style and quality standards.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach, taking on key art tasks such as character design, environment art, and color design.
  • Collaborate with the AD to maintain a cohesive visual style throughout the game.
• Artistic Skills:
  • Utilize strong artistic skills, including character design, color theory, and visual storytelling, to contribute directly to the project.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually elevate the quality of the game’s art.
• Project Management:
  • Develop and manage the art team’s schedule, ensuring that all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks within the art team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines.
• Communication:
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present and justify artistic decisions to the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Art Lead, Team Lead, or similar role in a casual mobile game studio;
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in character design, color, and overall artistic ability;
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment;
• Proficiency in industry-standard art tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.);
• Passion for mobile games and a deep understanding of casual game aesthetics.

Will be a plus:

• Art Lead experience.
