We are looking for a talented Automation QA Engineer to become a core member of our new projects. As an Automation QA Engineer at Star, you will handle a significant part of the project, work closely with the clients and be part of a team that creates useful, scalable products and solutions for real users. When you join our ranks, you will work closely with world-class technology entrepreneurs from the world’s most prominent innovation hubs. These include Silicon Valley, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and many other countries that may require business trips.
With our UK client, we are building a new and innovative credit card in-the-box solution: a B2B2C banking platform that will provide card issuance, processing, KYC, IBAN, payments, and other FS-related products.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance (web applications);
• Experience in API tests automation using Java;
• Experience with relational databases and strong SQL knowledge;
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts;
• Upper-intermediate level of English or above.

We appreciate:

• Experience with REST Assured;
• Experience in UI test automation using JavaScript/Typescript;
• Experience with Cypress and similar frameworks;
• Experience with performance automation (JMeter or similar tools);
• A computer science degree or similar.

What impact you’ll make

As a General QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the quality of the product and its features. Day-to-day work would include:

• Prepare, execute and support test scenarios;
• API tests automation using Java;
• Manual features testing;
• Collaborate with the team members and customer representatives;
• Creating and managing test documentation: test cases, checklists, bug reports, test reports, etc.;
• UI tests automation using JavaScript/TypeScript;
• Provide code reviews for automation engineers;
• Be involved in conducting demos to the customer;
