We are looking for a QA Engineer to focus on improving development processes and reviewing system features continuously to prevent any failure. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of tasks and work diligently under pressure.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Be a Developer in a Scrum/Kanban team, with a focus on testing.
• Work with developers side by side to know what they cover in unit tests (in JavaScript).
• Help developers to define integration and API tests, develop UI tests together.
• Perform all kind of testings (manual/automated, functional/non-functional, black-box/white-box).
• Take an active role in transition to continuous deployment and building pipelines and proper test pyramid.
• Introduce exploratory testing sessions, mob-testing and other means that will lead to team testing their product together.
• Help the team to be responsible for the product and quality end to end.
• Mentor developers on how to test.
• Find and fix bugs continuously.
• Be ready to learn, develop skills and knowledge, as well as share it.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar;
• At least 2+ years of experience in a matching position;
• Solid experience in software development and testing;
• Knowledge of JavaScript and experience with client-side unit/integration testing;
• Knowledge of NodeJS, RestAPI and experience with server-side unit/integration testing;
• Experience with client-server integration testing and e2e test automation;
• Experience with testing web and mobile;
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to detail;
• Passion for technology and real-time applications;
• Positive mindset and details oriented approach;
• An open-minded person, proactive team-player;
• Good communication and documentation skills.
