Responsibilities

• Learn the Allvue Front Office products, integrations, and dependencies quickly
• Work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them to functional design and technical build out
• Use proprietary platform tools and SQL to develop new features and address bugs in Front Office products
• Understanding coding (SQL) best practices for performance and architecture and engaging in code reviews and propagation of those best practices among the team
• Take a leadership role on scrum teams to determine how user stories break down into task requirements for individual engineering teams
• Be involved in ongoing tech roadmap initiatives to improve our development, regression, and release process
• Be responsible for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of product features and defects

Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Great teamwork and strong work ethic
• Self-motivated and can efficiently manage personal queue of work
• At least 5 years of experience working as a software developer or engineer
• Some experience working in a high level strategic position or managerial position with an engineering team
• Experience translating business requirements into functional requirements and executing via development
• Strong communications skills in English (written and verbal)
• Experience with SQL Server T-SQL including writing and debugging functions, stored procedures and performance optimization
• Experience with .NET software development is a plus
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipeline management, scripting a plus
