We are a product team working with Email services. Our team is responsible for jellyfish Spam Protection is a smart email security add-on with advanced filter tools which filters 22+ million emails daily!
Also we are working on a brand-new Email platform from scratch – spacemail.com. Spacemail already has thousands of users and a lot of features to do. We expect it will grow significantly with the amount of users this year.
All projects are high load which adds expectations to their performance and reliability. Projects keep actively growing so we need an expert who can handle non-functional testing starting from test architecture to integration to CI / CD flow.

You will be involved into:

• Work closely with development, product, and other cross-functional teams
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports
• Support features from scratch (manual testing with further automation)
• Investigate bugs root causes with Engineers, bugs raising, retests
• Performing regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Review existing product + test documentation and actualize it

Your expertise:

• Strong knowledge in the sphere of testing (e.g. testing types, levels, techniques, approaches, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Experience with Test Planning, curating test process
• Experience in requirements testing, REST API testing, database testing (SQL, Postgres would be preferable), E2E testing
• Knowledge in the sphere of Manual and Automation testing
• Knowledge of TypeScript
• Linux shell knowledge
• Confident usage of Source Code Management system (Git)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins would be preferable)
• Knowledge of Docker
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• English intermediate or higher

Will definitely be a plus:

• Understanding how email delivery works
• Experience with AWS
• Basic knowledge of Python
• Experience with logging and monitoring systems (e.g., Kibana / OpenSearch / Grafana)
• Experience with K6, JMeter
• Experience with Atlassian stack (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket)
• ISTQB certification
• Work experience with TESTRail
