QA Madness is a European IT service company focusing strongly on QA and cyber security. The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Poland.
Currently, we are searching for an experienced Automation QA to become a great addition to our team. Our client is looking for an AQA Engineer to automate a desktop application (Windows).

Work type: Remote.
Technical level: Middle-Senior.
Job category: QA.
Project: Rail Inspection.

Responsibilities:

• Developing code for tests within the automation framework for installation of desktop application; Identifying problems/defects in the product by manually testing, reviewing failed automated tests, or exploratory functions within the system;
• Optimising the testing processes with continuous improvements and adding proper test documentation for the team;
• Experience with running desktops on remote virtual machines (AWS/Azure) as well as locally in virtual machines (VirtualBox, VMWare);
• Raising, checking, and managing work item lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience working with Automation testing;
• Good working knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python) with the ability to create and manage automated test scripts using various software tools;
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables and capable of multi-tasking;
• Knowledge and experience working with WinnAppDriver/Pywinauto or other tools for Desktop Automation;
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze application diagnostics;
• Good understanding of CI/CD such as Jenkins;
• Extensive AWS EC2/Azure VM knowledge;
• Experience with creating infrastructure on local virtual machines (VMBox, VMWare);
• Ambition to learn, progress, and be innovative;
• Passion to produce quality through their work and customer-focused on results;
• Upper-intermediate English level.
