This is designed as a training program and covers fundamental software development concepts such as version control tools, Java programming language, clean code writing practices, basics of testing, and test automation.

The course will run for 4 months, with classes held 2 times a week, and is completely free of charge.

Although this is an unpaid opportunity, we are seeking highly motivated candidates who are currently studying (final year only) Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, or who have completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Successful candidates should be able to dedicate their time and effort to the program, to studying, participating in the classes, and completing the tasks given.

Ключові задачі:

• Проведення статичного тестування (аналіз вимог, перевірка специфікацій).
• Планування тестування: підготовка тест-планів для нового функціоналу та доробок до існуючого.
• Проведення мануального тестування:
  • нового функціоналу;
  • змін у вже наявному функціоналі;
  • задач у рамках релізу;
  • регресійного тестування.
• Моніторинг нового функціоналу після релізу у Prod середовище .
• Написання та актуалізація тестової документації: чек-листи, тест-кейси.
• Створення баг-репортів у Jira, супровід дефектів до їхнього остаточного закриття.
• Пріоритизація тест-кейсів, чек-листів, багів/дефектів.
• Підтримка актуального статусу задач, дефектів та багів у Jira.
• Формування тестових звітів після тестування.
• Написання how-to інструкцій для команд за потреби.
• Участь у розборі проблемних кейсів, допомога команді у відтворенні багів.
• Проведення демо нового функціоналу та організація приймального тестування замовниками функціоналу.

Що важливо для даної ролі:

• Досвід 1–2 роки у мануальному тестуванні Web UI та Backend.
• Проактивність у виявленні та пропозиції покращень як у тестових процесах, так і в самому функціоналі продукту.
• Аналітичне мислення: вміння знаходити залежності між модулями, розуміти ризики змін.
• Досвід участі у плануванні спринтів або grooming–сесіях: розуміння як працює Agile/Scrum підхід.
• Розуміння теорії тестування: цілі, рівні, типи тестування, життєвий цикл багів тощо.
• Практичне застосування тест-дизайну: використання різних технік (еквівалентне розбиття, граничні значення, рішення таблиць, сценарії тощо).
• Вміння презентувати результати тестування та чітко комунікувати статус задач/дефектів у команді.
• Досвід у створенні та підтримці тестової документації: Test Cases, Checklists, Test Reports.
• Робота з інструментами тест-менеджменту: TestRail, Jira, Confluence.
• Розуміння принципів клієнт-серверної взаємодії та мікро сервісної архітектури.
• Знання REST API та досвід роботи з REST-клієнтами (Postman, Swagger).
• Уміння працювати з логами: досвід користування Kibana або подібними інструментами.
• Практичний досвід з базами даних: написання SQL-запитів на рівні CRUD-операцій.
• Робота з Linux-середовищем: впевнене використання терміналу (а не лише GUI).
• Практичне застосування сніферів трафіку(як приклад – Fiddler, Charles)

Буде плюсом:

• Досвід тестування API за допомогою автоматизованих скриптів (навіть базового рівня).
• Досвід роботи з CRM-системами та тестування особистих кабінетів користувачів.
• Досвід роботи з інтернет-оплатами, платіжними провайдерами та їх тестуванням.
• Уміння працювати з логами сервісів та інструментами для їх перегляду (OpenSearch, Kibana тощо).
• Бажання розвиватися в напрямку автоматизації тестування (Python + Pytest + Playwright); наявність перших практичних кроків у цьому напрямку – буде перевагою.

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automation testing frameworks and ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You will collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and other Test Engineers to deliver best-in-class solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using frameworks like WebdriverIO, Cypress, and Playwright
• Perform load and performance testing using JMeter and BlazeMeter to ensure system reliability and scalability
• Conduct basic security testing and collaborate with the Security Team to identify and address vulnerabilities
• Develop and maintain API tests leveraging Postman CLI and related tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, performance, and security aspects

Halliburton AutoGS is a provisional name for Halliburton's initiative in automated geosteering during well drilling. The project aims to develop a system capable of independently managing the trajectory of horizontal and directional wells in real time with minimal human intervention. AutoGS combines Halliburton’s digital drilling technologies (including the LOGIX® platform for autonomous drilling) with intelligent algorithms and sensors integrated directly into the well construction process.

• 3+ years of work experience in software quality assurance
