Working with other IT Svit colleagues, you’ll help our customers build and operate their cloud solutions, working with their engineers to put together a foundation of good DevOps & SRE practise, helping them move faster, maintain uptime, and keep their secrets safe and secure.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years experience in DevOps and Linux system administration;
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, RBAC, IAM concept;
• Software Networking skills such as building custom Linux-based routers, firewalls, NAT Gateways;
• Bash and Python scripting skills;
• Experience configuring and provisioning dedicated hosts and VMs using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Terraform;
• Experience using docker-compose, Kubernetes, Helm;
• Experience with AWS;
• Experience integrating CI/CD solutions such as CircleCI, TravisCI, Jenkins, GitlabCI into development pipelines;

About the project

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust and scalable infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud services, and optimizing our software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in core IT technologies, cloud services, and automation, and possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Requirements

• 1+ year of development experience (preferably Golang, Python, JavaScript) – must have;
• 3+ years of experience with Ubuntu-like Linux;
• Experience with Docker or other container-based technologies;
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Experience running production systems in Amazon AWS and services like ECS, S3, RDS, ELB, SQS, and Lambda;
• Networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, Load-balancers, PKI (TLS), network security, etc;
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines, etc;
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL technologies such as MySQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis;

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain software delivery pipelines and infrastructure that support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure that software is delivered with high quality, speed, and reliability.
• Automate manual processes, such as testing, deployment, and monitoring, to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
