Requirements:

• Five-year of Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization or DevOps Engineer (at least)
• Cloud Expertise: Proven experience managing and maintaining large-scale environments in Azure, databases, and application systems
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services (PaaS and IaaS), Azure storage capabilities, and Azure DevOps
• CI/CD Mastery: experience with tools like Github Actions for CI/CD pipeline automation, TeamCity/Bamboo, SonarQube, Artifactory/Nexus, and Azure Artifacts (workflows, runners, reusable workflows, self-hosted runners)

• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, AzurePowershell, Bash, Ruby, Go, and Azure CLI for containerized application deployment and scaling

• Experience in migrating and transforming existing systems to the cloud using Azure tools and best practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and collaborate with others
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail to handle complex challenges and issues
• GitHub Ecosystem: Experience managing GitHub repositories, secrets, environments, branch protection rules, and security best practices
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or a similar technical field)
• Level of English: Upper-Intermediate (at least)

Would be a plus:

• .NET Knowledge: Familiarity with .NET environments (as the client’s integration components are built using .NET)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Alternative: Experience with Terraform/Terragrunt is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with establishing a plan that includes collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, etc.
• Assisting in the build-out of the Department’s application portfolio on the Azure public cloud, leveraging cloud-native design, microservice architecture, and containerisation
• Create and promote tools that enhance overall productivity and security in an Azure environment

• Implementing and managing build infrastructure and understanding build automation in the context of .NET

In this DevOps Team Lead position, you will be a key member of the expansion of our DevOps teams. You will mentor and coach them to deliver the best infrastructure solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 6-8 DevOps Engineers.
• Lead and be responsible for on-time, great-quality project deliveries.
• Define or participate in creating Architecture and Designs for the infrastructure and CI/CD solutions for the projects.

• Conduct code reviews and coaching and make sure technical best practices are applied.
• Manage and track SOW for projects together with customers, PMO and higher management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in successfully leading IT projects from the start to delivery
• Team Lead (or similar) experience leading DevOps and/or SysAdmin teams
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructures. AWS certification is a plus
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

The Client along with Bloomingdales is one of the oldest and biggest department store chains in USA. The Client is focusing on online retail and DevOps Team is constantly improving and refining the delivery process. Engineers work on CI/CD pipelines based on Jenkins and Jenkins pipelines written in Groovy, communicate with Development and QA departments from customer side and help them with application code (mostly written in Java) delivery from GitLab to production. The DevOps Team supports their own portal for test environments deployment, which is based on GCP and Kubernetes. The infrastructure which is being changed right along with code requirements is monitored by Prometheus. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a member of the DevOps team, yet mainly responsible for improving or setting up top-level OPS monitoring, logging, observability and alerting tools for a distributed fintech system. • Build software, frameworks, and tools required for reliable operations of PandaDoc services
