This full-time position offers the opportunity to report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and is open to remote candidates. As a Senior Architect at Apexive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural landscape of our projects, ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and robust solutions. Your expertise in Django and Flutter will be instrumental in driving our development initiatives, creating seamless, high-quality applications, and enhancing our backend systems.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• ‍Lead and mentor development teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Architect and oversee the development of complex web and mobile applications using Django and Flutter, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Guide the selection of appropriate technologies and frameworks for project requirements.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web and mobile development, continuously enhancing our technology stack.
• Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of our applications by integrating best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring the quality and maintainability of our codebase.
• Drive innovation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in Django and Flutter.
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex web and mobile applications.
• Deep understanding of design patterns, system architecture, and best practices in software development.
• Strong experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools, ensuring smooth deployment and integration processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding development teams.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively in a remote, dynamic environment.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
