We’re looking for a talented Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll design, build, and optimize scalable backend systems while seamlessly integrating cutting-edge AI and machine learning models. You’ll collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver innovative AI-driven features that power our core platform and bring real impact to our users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that support AI/ML functionalities
• Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize machine learning models and integrate them into production systems
• Optimize data pipelines, storage, and retrieval processes to handle large-scale datasets efficiently
• Develop API endpoints and microservices for AI-driven features and support real-time/ batch AI processing
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and standards
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AI/ML and backend development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a focus on AI/ML projects
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines (ETL processes, databases, data lakes)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and server-side development
• Knowledge of DevOps practices for CI/CD, monitoring, and system automation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Will be a plus

• Experience with NLP, computer vision, or other AI domains
• Knowledge of MLOps practices for model deployment and lifecycle management
• Familiarity with data storage solutions like SQL, NoSQL, and data warehouses
