Responsibilities

As the Business Development Manager, your role will be vital in driving our growth and success. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing and growing existing accounts: Build strong relationships and provide exceptional support to our key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and success.
• Developing new business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, engaging with merchants, marketing agencies, affiliate networks, and other stakeholders in the e-commerce industry.
• Being a Shoparize brand ambassador: Represent Shoparize at industry events and cultivate positive relationships within the e-commerce community.
• Continuous self-development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, acquire relevant certifications, and become a knowledgeable e-commerce consultant.
• Collaborate with merchants, agencies, affiliate networks, internal teams, to improve revenue, performance, and overall satisfaction.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, we expect the following qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
• Working experience in startups or readiness to work in a startup pace.
• Familiarity with the digital marketing or affiliate marketing field.
• Familiarity with Google Shopping and the Partner CSS program is highly desirable.
• Fluent English and Italian or Spanish on bilingual/native level.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to effectively manage key accounts.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for understanding the e-commerce landscape.
• Goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Strong ownership. You will have a lot of space for improvisation but you should be ready to take responsibility.
• Willingness to obtain certifications and complete relevant courses to enhance your expertise.
• You live in Amsterdam or maximum 30 min from Amsterdam.
