Tietoevry Create is looking for a Cloud Integration and Support Engineer for our customer in the Telco field, who provides several cloud solutions for their users. The main responsibility of the integration engineer is to deploy the cloud solution based on user requests.
Installation is semi-manual, meaning some steps need to be done manually by following well-documented instructions. However, most of the steps are automated, so the engineer is expected to run a sequence of automations (Jenkins jobs, Bash scripts, etc.).
It is highly appreciated if the engineer can identify missing automations and develop them.

When joining as a Cloud Integration and Support Engineer:

• Cloud Deployment:
  • Physical HW (switches, servers): initial configuration
  • Networking configuration (L2/L3)
  • Virtualization layer installation and configuration (Kubernetes or OpenStack)
  • Cloud Life Cycle Management and Support:
  • Cloud software upgrades
  • Troubleshooting and fixing operational issues
• Support of Existing Automation:
  • Running automation jobs (Jenkins)
  • Troubleshooting and fixing failures in automation jobs (Python, Bash scripts, Jenkins, Linux)

We are looking for someone with following experience and knowledge:

• Linux administration
• L2/L3 networking
• Ability to understand technical documentation
• Kubernetes basics

Nice to have experience and knowledge:

• Hands-on experience with network devices (switches, routers) and servers
• Jenkins pipeline basics
• Python, Bash scripting
• OpenStack basics
