We are looking for a talented Middle Automation QA with 3+ years of experience to join our project to work on expediting the energy transition with sustainable home energy solutions.
Our client is focused on expediting the shift toward eco-friendly heating by offering intelligent, accessible heat pumps. Their first product is now available, with an all-electric model on the way to help homeowners fully eliminate natural gas at their speed. Our client enhances the user experience through AI-based control systems, streamlined installation, and direct-to-customer sales. This approach cuts gas usage by up to 80% and achieves a 3-4-year return on investment, promoting widespread adoption.

Must have

• Relevant degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Test Automation (JavaScript or similar).
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Postman.
• Experience setting up, designing, and implementing test automation suites and advising the team on tooling.
• Ability to work independently, make mistakes, learn from them, and fix them.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• At least C1 English level

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing (automated and manual).
• Focus on our mobile application.
• Define end-to-end test scenarios and data mappings using development documentation and requirements.
• Support existing automated test suits and create new test cases.
• Create and execute manual and automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages.
• Maintain the test result documentation to assist our development team in debugging and modification of software and systems.
• Report bugs that occur during the process and suggest improvements.
• Participate in refinements and discussions of the new features together with embedded and App and Cloud teams.
• Develop tests in Typescript using Jest and Supertest frameworks daily.
