We are growing and looking for motivated Middle/Senior Database engineers and Database Administrators who are ready for new challenges for Full-time or Part-Time cooperation.

About the project:

A USA-based financial company that specializes in providing financing to small and medium businesses has CRM, reporting, and payment-processing systems. Our team of developers has been working on the project for 3 years and we are looking to expand the team.
This is a long-term project.

Duties:

• Create and Manage SQL Server databases across servers in Azure and on-premise.
• Create SQL queries to facilitate data needs.
• Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
• Monitor the system’s health and performance.
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security.
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
• Provide suggestions for solutions.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
• Proactively monitor and manage critical production systems.

Required skills:

• At least 3 years of experience working as a SQL Server Database Engineer or Database Administrator;
• At least 3 years of experience with performance tuning, optimization, backups, restores, and recovery models;
• Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for database technologies;
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS);
• English – Intermediate and higher.

Be a plus:

• Azure experience, Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Certification;
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policies;
• AWS experience, experience with managing/operating AWS Aurora, AWS S3/AWS certification;
• Experience with migrating on-prem environments to the public cloud;
• Knowledge and experience with managing/operating Kubernetes.
