Axon is looking for an experienced React Native Engineer.

About the project

Axon is looking for an experienced React Native Engineer to join the development of a workout tracking system that helps people with physical training and rehabilitation.
The system consists of iOS and Android applications, Web Portal and Admin panel. Applications work in pairs with 2 IoT devices.
By using our devices professional and amateur athletes, trainers, and physical coaches can track their sporting achievements: a number of metrics helps to understand what physical shape a person is in. The product is used by famous athletes and physiotherapists both in Britain and other countries. The current team consists of 12 Specialists, who will gladly assist with your on-boarding on the Project.

What you need for this position

• About 3 years of relevant commercial experience in React Native development;
• Experience with mobile/web/backend development within the modern JS ecosystem (server-side development is about 10-20% of all work, because it's mostly used for saving and retrieving data);
• Most of the previous Projects is done in the mobile applications;
• Good Math skills for live data processing is and advantage;
• Experience in working with Agile methodology;
• Experience using the Git version control system;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English for communication with UK colleagues.

What you will be doing

• Full-stack development
• Mobile: React Native, Expo
• Web: React, create-react-app
• Backend: Firebase (Firestore, Functions, Authentication)
• Data processing (pure TypeScript + math/physics)

Subsystems:

• Mobile application for athletes and their trainers
• Web application for trainers, physiotherapists, and admins
• Serverless backend functions, mostly CRUD to Firestore.
