Our client is the leading TV streaming platform in the US and Canada used by advertisers to manage their online campaigns across all media channels, device platforms, advertising exchange, manipulate data, and manage client’s services. The project aims to has us well-positioned to help shape the future of streaming. Continued success relies on investing in Advertising Engineering, particularly in exploring cutting-edge generative AI solutions for ad creatives. Ad Serving team are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End developer to build intuitive and high-performing user interfaces for our Generative AI (GenAI) Proof of Concepts. This role will involve collaborating closely with backend engineers and product managers to create a seamless experience for advertisers leveraging cutting-edge AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in web development and production application support of highly trafficked consumer-facing web applications;
• 3+ years of in-depth experience with Node.js and React and relevant toolset/framework ecosystem;
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript (including prototypical inheritance, scope, and closures);
• Well knowledge of HTML, CSS, and HTTP for the web platform;
• Strong proficiency in writing clean, robust code is a must;
• Experience of container-based orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus;
• Experience in infrastructure as code software tools, such as Terraform is a plus;
• Comfortable working with version-controlled code environments (e.g., Git);
• Understanding of XML, JSON, DOM, and W3C standards;
• Knowledge of the latest open standards and web technologies and how they can be used effectively;
• Being comfortable writing unit tests, component tests, e2e tests under the react umbrella. (e.g. experience in Jest, Cypress, Playwright or equivalent / related tools & frameworks is mandatory);
• Experience in Node.js/Express.js is a plus;
• Experience in state management libraries e.g. Redux, Zustand, MobX, etc. is a big plus;

Job responsibilities

• Developing the front-end apps for our products and collaborate with designers, other engineers, and product managers to build new features, iterate on current features, and build a world-class user experience;
• Building responsive and reusable UI components using modern front-end frameworks like React adhering to specifications and guidelines;
• Integration with backend RESTful APIs to consume and display data;
• Improving web performance by optimizing page load, rendering, and caching;
• Debugging and identifying page speed and performance bottlenecks using tools like Chrome Dev Tools, React Dev Tools, etc;
• Be familiar with responsive web design, common web UX patterns, and anti-patterns;
• Work comfortably with version-controlled code environments (e.g., Git);
• Decompose complex problems into manageable units of work;
