Ciklum is looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

As a Senior JavaScript Developer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, with a deep technical understanding of endpoint security and extensive experience developing agents and browser extensions. Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain secure endpoint agents for macOS, Windows, and browser extensions compatible with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
• Implement and optimize platform-specific features, ensuring seamless and secure functionality across macOS and Windows endpoints
• Build browser extensions focused on security, integrating them with our platform for real-time threat detection and data protection
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing agents and extensions to improve performance, compatibility, and security
• Collaborate with security engineers, QA, and product teams to align agent functionality with security goals
• Implement and enforce security best practices, including data protection and secure communication with backend services
• Optimize agents and extensions to minimize system resource usage while maximizing performance and reliability
• Stay current with the latest developments in macOS, Windows, and browser security, incorporating relevant advancements into our agents and extensions

Requirements

• Software Design
  • Proficient in different API architectural styles (monolith, microservices, serverless)
  • Experience in designing solutions using the proper patterns and development standards
• Software development:
  • At least 4 years of experience with NodeJS
  • Proficiency in browser extension development (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) – Advantage
  • Experience with macOS and Windows Endpoint Security – Advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment
  • Communication and collaboration skills
• Quality Assurance:
  • Practical experience with testing approaches and tools
  • Supporting code quality metrics
  • Familiar with monitoring and logging tools
• Software Deployment:
  • Hands-on experience with application deployment patterns and tools (Docker)
  • Prior record in infrastructure configuration using popular cloud providers (like AWS)

Desirable
