Brainberry invites Senior Full-Stack Developer for long-term and full-time employment at its service center in Kyiv, Ukraine.
You will have the opportunity to be a part of the extension team of an international IT Consulting Company.

Technology Stack:

• JavaScript (ES6, CoffeeScript);
• UI-Heavy-Frameworks (React, Backbone);
• Component-Based;
• Build-Tools (Webpack, npm, Gulp, Browserify);
• Working with RESTful APIs;
• Design and Develop powerful and performant REST web services using Ruby on Rails;
• Architect and implement mission-critical publication systems;
• Design and develop asynchronous workers to process time-consuming tasks;
• Professional experience with React, Ruby 2, Rails 4 and Postgres or other RDBMS;
• Experience with unit testing (whether TDD, BDD, or spike it first and test it later) and a desire to push everyone to do better;
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Redis, Docker - huge pluses.

Responsibilities:

• Known methods for latency improvement and performance optimization.
• Implement object oriented design and best practices including code to test (unit).
• Agile principles including focus on demo working code, work breakdown structures, continuous integration, kanban boards.
• Ability to go from wire-frame or whiteboard to integrate, code, and iteration.
• Can quickly determine LOE (Levels of Effort) on proposed architecture and solution concepts.
• Available to accommodate US Pacific time standards and schedules.
• Development of the project and database architecture.
• Direct reporting to the CTO.
• Be a part of hiring process of the future team members.
• Business trips.
• Fluent English.
