This is a full-time position reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. For this role, we are considering candidates who are remote-based.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain Backend solutions using Python/Django.
- Build docker images that can run on top of AWS or other PaaS.
- Model databases using MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB.
- Understand the needs of our clients and come up with solutions for their problems.
- Taking an active part in our learning and knowledge-sharing culture.
Skills We're looking for:
- 3+ years of Python/Django experience;
- Experience with RESTful backend applications, specially built with Django;
- An inability to write anything but clean, maintainable code;
- Strong aversion to hard code;
- Experience with deployment processes like AWS, Heroku;
- Being up-to-date with the latest news and technologies about the Backend;
- High English proficiency as our company language is English;
- Ability to work independently;
- Alignment with our values, including get things done attitude.

As a Senior Architect at Apexive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural landscape of our projects, ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and robust solutions. Your expertise in Django and Flutter will be instrumental in driving our development initiatives, creating seamless, high-quality applications, and enhancing our backend systems.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor development teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Architect and oversee the development of complex web and mobile applications using Django and Flutter, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Guide the selection of appropriate technologies and frameworks for project requirements.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to development teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web and mobile development, continuously enhancing our technology stack.
- Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of our applications by integrating best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring the quality and maintainability of our codebase.
- Drive innovation and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in Django and Flutter.
- Proven track record of architecting and delivering complex web and mobile applications.
- Deep understanding of design patterns, system architecture, and best practices in software development.
- Strong experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Proficient in CI/CD practices and tools, ensuring smooth deployment and integration processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and guiding development teams.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively in a remote, dynamic environment.

What We Need from You:
- At least 2 years in the sales field, especially in Custom Software Development Services;

- Experience dealing with founders, high-level executives, and tech leaders, capable of steering tech-focused discussions;
- Top-notch communication skills, both written and verbal;
- The ability to juggle multiple tasks, stay organized, and prioritize efficiently;
- Strong skills in negotiation and solving problems;
- A self-starter attitude paired with an startup spirit;
- Fluent English communication skills.
