Join our AI Assistant Platform team as a Full-Stack Developer. You'll work on a high-impact system that empowers developers across Wix by building internal tools and infrastructure, enabling widespread AI adoption. This is a hands-on role where you’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and researchers from both the Frontend and Backend Guilds.

In your day-to-day you will:

• Architect and implement end-to-end solutions using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Design and build internal APIs and tooling that power AI-driven features across multiple products
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and intuitive, data-rich dashboards for internal users
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers, product managers, and engineers across Frontend and Backend guilds
• Lead technical decisions that shape the platform’s scalability, reliability, and developer experience
• Drive improvements in code quality, performance, and maintainability through reviews and refactoring
• Facilitate integration of AI capabilities into product development by creating reusable infrastructure components

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack, frontend or backend development
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experienced in building applications with React and Node.js
• Skilled in designing and consuming REST APIs or gRPC services
• Familiar with SQL or document-based databases (e.g. MySQL)
• Curious about AI and eager to build tools that empower users
• Experience with Kafka or other event-driven systems – an advantage
• Background in building internal tools or developer platforms – an advantage
