Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (Python) for a project with a global mobile game developer. The role focuses on automating tests for a custom game engine to improve test coverage and development efficiency.
The customer is a leading global developer and publisher of mobile games, operating across more than 50 countries. With a team of over 3,000 professionals, the company is recognized as one of the top three mobile gaming studios worldwide by revenue. Its portfolio includes several hit titles that consistently rank among the highest-grossing games in app stores, attracting over 100 million monthly active users. The customer emphasizes innovation, long-term player engagement, and high production quality.
The project is focused on automating complex technical debt test cases related to a custom game engine, similar to Unity and written in C++. This engine is used for game development, and the automated testing aims to improve coverage and efficiency across key engine functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Writing and executing automated tests for web interfaces and API testing.
• Refactoring existing tests to align with the new Page Object Model architecture.
• Managing test results and documentation.
• Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborating with customer teams to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment with project requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in QA Automation for 3+ years.
• Experience with invasive frameworks that provide access to models inside the editor.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Pytest.
• Familiarity with QASE for test management.
• Skills in using Teamcity and GitHub.
• Experience in creating tests using PageObject and Factory patterns.
• Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium (for web testing) and API testing (via websocket).
• Ability to work with APIs through websocket.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, focused on collaborative problem-solving.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience working as a lead or a desire to work as a lead of Andersen AQA team.
• Experience or understanding of the testing process in gamedev industry.
