Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to establish and lead our QA practice from the ground up. As the first dedicated QA professional in our company, you will design and implement testing strategies across all client-facing deliverables, covering Applications, Data, and AI. This role requires hands-on experience in testing UI, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and integrated systems while working with both manual and automated tests. Our tech stack includes Python (Pandas, NumPy), SQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, AWS, RAG pipelines, and Vector DBs.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices from scratch.
• Develop and execute manual and automated tests for the application, APIs, databases, and AI-driven solutions.
• Design and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs.
• Perform exploratory testing and manual validation when necessary.
• Monitor test execution, analyze results, and improve system reliability.
• Advocate for QA best practices and mentor engineers on testing strategies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and manual testing, with a proven track record of setting up QA processes.
• Strong hands-on experience testing web applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and AI-driven systems.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation, scripting, and framework development.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and API testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Postgres, and data validation testing.
• Experience working with AWS-based infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build testing processes from scratch.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with BA responsibilities, including requirements gathering.
• Product mindset – ability to understand user needs and business goals to ensure high-quality product delivery.
