We are seeking an experienced Lead JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the creation and enhancement of our gaming products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain game applications in JavaScript.
  • Work with gaming frameworks such as PIXI.js, Phaser, etc.
  • Implement cutting-edge user interfaces and UX solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and testers to optimize the development process.
  • Implement and maintain server solutions using Node.js.
  • Ensure high performance and optimization of code.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript and modern ECMAScript standards.
  • Deep understanding of REST principles.
  • Experience with gaming JavaScript frameworks like PIXI.js, Phaser, etc.
  • Experience with Node.js development.
  • Knowledge of game development principles and experience with game engines.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Experience in writing clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Analytical mindset and a problem-solving approach.
  • Obligatory knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian, at least on a conversational level.
  • Knowledge of English is required.

Onlyplay, an innovative game development company specializing in unique gaming solutions, is seeking an experienced Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for the creation and enhancement of our gaming products.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle requests submitted to technical support.
  • Configure settings upon request. Search for solutions to technical issues.
  • Identify errors in log files and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Perform data extraction from PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
  • Prepare professionally written response letters to inquiries in English (occasionally in Ukrainian).

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Support, preferably in the gaming industry or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of client-server architecture.
  • Understanding of the HTTP protocol.
  • Experience in analyzing log files.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Written English at B1 level or higher.

Will be plus:

  • Experience in the gambling industry.
  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience with microservices.
  • Experience with Grafana dashboards and logs search.

Our candidate:

  • Has at least 1 year of experience in a similar or related position in the gaming industry (B2B/B2C).
  • Good analytical skills.
  • English - at least B2 (spoken and written), knowledge of Portuguese will be a plus.
  • Ability to work with clients, find an individual approach.
  • Experience in resolving conflict situations.
  • Able to quickly find answers to any questions within the team.
  • Quick adaptation to changes.
  • Able to work effectively with large amounts of information.
  • Ambitious and willing to develop not only themselves but also the department.
  • Proactive and not afraid to take responsibility.
