We are looking for a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and help drive the success of one of our projects. This is a large-scale account, and you’ll be responsible for one of its key components – a highly secure system for enterprise-level blockchain asset management. The project involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and shape the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
• Proven experience in creating or working with stablecoins. Alternatively, experience with the blockchain-based products (mobile and web apps) within the financial domain (e.g., wallets, portfolio management, custom blockchains, etc).
• Experience in integrating with 3rd party services (e.g., banks, payment providers, custodians, etc.)
• Experience in managing customer expectations, facilitating and guiding workshops with stakeholders.
• Comfortable turning complex ideas into engaging presentations, proposals and requirements.
• Knowledge & Expertise
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise in Web3 technologies, with a focus on stablecoins, wallets, custodial solutions, and custom EVM-blockchains.
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and development methodologies.
  • Understanding of AML and KYB/KYC solutions.
  • Understanding of compliance and security policies (e.g., cold-hot wallets, multisig, ledger, etc.)
• Documentation Skills
  • Proficiency in creating clear and concise requirements documentation, including UML diagrams, wireframes, mind maps, infographics, etc.
  • Ability to structure and orchestrate information architecture effectively within the project.
• Technical, Soft & Analytical Skills
  • Strong skills in business analysis, requirements management and product management.
  • Strong logical and analytical skills, with the ability to identify edge cases and corner scenarios.
  • Capability to provide practical solutions and recommendations for product development.
  • Advanced knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Notion, Draw.io, FigJam Miro, or similar.
  • Able to express ideas, thoughts, and questions simply, concisely, and in a structured way.
  • Good team player, but able to be highly independent, when needed.
  • Open to change and able to adjust priorities quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Would be a plus

• Experience working with multinational stakeholders (particularly across EMEA).
• Willingness and ability to travel to the UAE and/or African countries for onsite workshops and project activities.
• Strong technical background (former FE/BE/blockchain developers or QA engineers are highly preferred).
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud infrastructure and tools (e.g., SSH, Azure, DFNS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:
  • Participate in the discovery project, identify and articulate business needs, elicit functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders, and analyze them to drive project objectives.
  • Define and manage the product backlog, prioritize it based on the business value and technical feasibility
  • Lead workshops and discovery sessions to validate assumptions and refine the product vision
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and the development team to ensure continuous support and alignment of functionality through to production.
• Documentation Management:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Collect, define, and translate business/product objectives into clear technical requirements and user stories within the backlog.
• Solution Design and Specification:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design technical solutions that are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop detailed technical specifications to guide the development process and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of requirements with project goals and client expectations, facilitating open communication and resolving potential conflicts.
• Risk Management:
  • Ensure solutions align with compliance, legal, and operational constraints.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with project delivery, including technical, security, and timeline risks.
  • Collaborate with the internal stakeholders and development team to define and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success and safeguard deliverables.
