We are looking for a Middle React/Elixir Engineer to join us as part of our team.

About the role:

You will join the BTWB (Beyond The Whiteboard) project, which provides fitness tracking and management software primarily designed for CrossFit and functional fitness enthusiasts. The software helps users log workouts and key metrics while simplifying the process of building WODs (workout of the day) and assisting coaches in tracking member performance. While BTWB isn’t a complete gym management solution, it’s the perfect software for enhancing member fitness analysis and promoting a culture of improvement in your box. Given its robust functionality and highly-specialized design, Beyond the Whiteboard is the leading software for CrossFit boxes with over 35 million logged results.

We’re looking for you if you have:

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with Elixir, React, and Next.js.
• Understanding of functional programming concepts and OTP principles.
• Hands-on experience with Phoenix (Elixir), and an interest in learning the Ash Framework.
• Proficiency in SQL and TypeScript.
• English level: B2 or higher.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• A strong passion for staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends.

As a qualified expert, you will:

• Implement new features, improve existing code, and investigate issues in production.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to build and maintain applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Develop a problem-solving mindset (not only write code, but solve tasks).
