We are looking for a passionate Backend Engineer (Go) to join our client’s Store of Value team. In this role, you will collaborate with a client-focused squad to design and deliver impactful solutions for millions of users worldwide. You will work closely with cross-functional peers and report directly to the Engineering Manager within the SoV organization.

About the project

Our partner is an innovative, prosperous FinTech project based in the US since 2011. The company provides digital financial services for migrant workers, allowing them to send money home through modern digital channels, including mobile phones. They developed an international payment platform that uses the latest technologies to simplify the money transfer process, save time and eliminate the need for additional forms, codes, and intermediaries. The company’s mission is to enhance the lives of migrants who send money around the world and manage their finances.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with GO
• 5+ years backend engineering experience
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Deep knowledge of API standards such as REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.
• Experience in microservices architecture
• Experience with unit testing and test automation
• Experience working closely with frontend developers
• English – Upper intermediate+

Will be a plus

• Backend engineering experience with Node.js
• Experience in Jest
• Experience in Kubernetes
• Experience working with CI/CD
• Experience working with international teams

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the backend of a B2C microservices platform with complex architecture, enabling user experiences around financial operations
• Maintain high-quality code handling sensitive information quickly, securely, and reliably for millions of users
• Collaborate with multiple functional teams and team members, including Frontend Developers, QA, BI, and Technical Support
