At Wix Design Guild, we are a multidisciplinary in-house design studio of over 300 designers globally, with a mission to implement a cohesive and coherent brand strategy across all visual assets at Wix. Now, we’re expanding our creative footprint with the launch of the Kyiv Design Hub – a new center of innovation, collaboration, and design excellence. This hub will serve as a creative powerhouse, bringing together talented designers to tackle strategic design tasks at scale, enhancing the variety and velocity of our in-house design capabilities. With a focus on creativity, collaboration, and user-first solutions, the Kyiv Design Hub will play a key role in shaping the future of design at Wix. We’re building a team of visionaries who are passionate about design, driven by innovation, and ready to make an impact.
As a Junior Web & Brand Designer, you’ll be a key contributor to our diverse design projects, from concept through completion. You'll be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-friendly designs and ensuring that they align with project goals.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Take ownership of a wide range of visual design tasks, from initial wireframing and layout creation to final design polish, ensuring all tasks are efficiently completed and meet high design standards
• Utilize your technical skills to bring designs to life on the web, becoming an expert in the Wix platform to ensure smooth functionality and exceptional user experiences
• Continuously push creative boundaries by experimenting with new design concepts, tools, and technologies to deliver cutting-edge digital experiences
• Work closely with project managers and fellow designers to bring innovative design ideas to life, ensuring alignment with project goals and the overall vision
• Approach design challenges with a creative mindset, finding innovative solutions that balance aesthetics and functionality
• Receive and apply constructive feedback from team members to refine and enhance designs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Wix features, web design trends, and best practices to keep designs fresh and innovative

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional web and brand design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to take projects from concept to launch
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, accept constructive feedback, and enhance designs accordingly
• Solid understanding of UX/UI fundamentals, including layout, typography, and image creation, paired with a creative mindset to craft unique design experiences
• Highly organized, independent, and productive, with the ability to take full ownership of projects and drive them from start to finish
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach that contributes to a dynamic and engaging team culture
• Experience with AI-driven creation tools, HTML/CSS/JavaScript coding capabilities, and web creation platforms such as Webflow, Wix, and more – an advantage
• Illustrations and image making, After Effects, Blender, and/or Cinema 4D – an advantage
