As Senior UI programmer, you will help develop the tools and interaction methods that are required for building user interfaces.   • Develop, test, maintain and optimize the UI systems to work efficiently with the supported consoles and platforms, using CRYENGINE and Flash.

Requirements

  • Experience in slot game development
  • Strong level in JavaScript / TypeScript / HTML / CSS
  • At least 3 years of Pixi.JS practical usage
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, and Spine
  • Strong knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles
  • Knowledge of basics and principles of game development using modern TypeScript
  • Good understanding of multiple design patterns (MVC, Singleton, Observer, Decorator, Chain of Responsibility, Abstract Factory, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of QA and QC processes (suite concepts, test case/suite concepts, etc.)
  • Upper-Intermediate English
  • High-level organizational and estimation skills

Would be a plus:

  • Experience in crash game development
  • Understanding of casino games mathematics
  • Knowledge/experience with WebGL and 3D
  • Examples of your pet projects

Responsibilities

  • New projects start. Be ready to work as a part of client team or set up a dedicated team on our side
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for new game development projects (with the help of PM and other teammates)
  • Develop accurate project estimates
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams to execute projects effectively and efficiently
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the development team. Ensure adherence to best practices to achieve high-quality deliverables
  • Maintain a high level of organizational skills to keep projects on track and within scope
  • Last but not least, contribute to our competence center and in-house initiatives

The VFX Artist will be responsible for creation, implementation, and systems spec for all effects components in the game. They will need to collaborate closely with engineering, design, and the other art disciplines to develop outstanding visual effects.

About you

  • Create visual effects and assets for games. Optimize them for the mobile platforms;
  • Technical setup and integration of VFX in a game engine;
  • Working closely with Designers and Engineers to create handcrafted in-game visual effects to be used for real-time game assets and environments;
  • Ownership and interaction with programmers and technical art to develop, enhance, and maintain VFX systems;
  • Serve as an active participant in team art discussions.

Requirements:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in creating high-quality VFX for games or interactive experiences, with a focus on Unity projects;
  • Proficiency in Unity and a solid understanding of its particle systems, shaders, and rendering pipeline;
  • In-depth understanding of current computer graphics capabilities and limitations;
  • A sense of color, shape, composition and dynamics;
  • Proficient with particle systems, physics, ribbons, shaders etc;
  • Solving technical issues that arise with new tools or game performance;
  • Able to paint special FX textures from scratch matching an established style;
  • Professional game development experience with casual games is a plus!

Job Description

  • Help create and manage the character and creature art pipeline, with a strong focus on building the advanced customization system.
  • Collaborate with the Character and VFX teams to implement visual effects, shaders, and advanced materials.
  • Work closely with the animation team to design and implement complex custom character rigs.
  • Develop the flow and maintain an optimized technical art pipeline.
  • Help the programming team to develop unique features, debug, profile and optimize game content for the target platforms.
  • Work closely with the art team to integrate art content in game engines and create tools to facilitate the production process.
  • Create tools to improve the artists' workflow, while keeping user experience in mind.
  • Support the artists by documenting tools, creating guidelines and developing best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest tools and techniques being used in the video game industry and identify which ones can be applied to the project.
  • Mentor Intermediate and Junior Tech Artists, as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong skills in advanced character and creature rigging and skinning, body mechanics, and animation styles
  • Experience in simulation, morphing flow/systems
  • Advanced proficiency in 3d software as Maya or 3ds Max
  • Skilled in creating and optimizing visual effects in real time, with a strong understanding of designing shaders and/or complex special effects
