About the project:

Our client is a Dutch company which is the market leader in their industry.
The application needs to be re-written from scratch in the latest tech stack and additional features will be added continuously. The software gets and pushes data from several other applications and processes the data for reporting and workforce processes. We will use the latest Vue.js 3 version and after the first phase also a mobile app will be built to service over 200 people working with the software. The application has a broad range of services and functionalities and is used intensively.

Tech stack:
We will use the newest technologies and versions of Laravel 8.x, PHP 8.x, Javascript(ES5/ES6), Vue.js 3, Vite, Open API (Swagger), Docker, Docker Compose, Azure services (App services, Azure DevOps), MariaDB, CI/CD pipelines Azure DevOps, code styling/analysis tools.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing the back-end part of the application, according to the functional requirements.
• Analyzing and following business requirements.
• Work according to the planning process and deliver based on estimations.
• Communicating directly with the Dutch client on a daily basis, in English.
• Create clean and clear code.

We are happy to meet you when you have:

• 3+ years of experience with PHP (Laravel);
• Knowledge of commonly accepted software design principles (design patterns, anti-patterns, refactoring, OOP, SOLID, DRY– REST API design, etc.);

The customer is planning to migrate the data to Gitlab. Experienced engineers with migration experience are needed to assist the current team.

Client description:

The Client along with Bloomingdales is one of the oldest and biggest department store chains in USA. The Client is focusing on online retail and DevOps Team is constantly improving and refining the delivery process. Engineers work on CI/CD pipelines based on Jenkins and Jenkins pipelines written in Groovy, communicate with Development and QA departments from customer side and help them with application code (mostly written in Java) delivery from GitLab to production.
