Requirements:

• 1+ year experience as Manual QA Engineer;
• good understanding of testing process methods, concepts and tools – experience in requirements analysis;
• good experience in test documentation creation (test cases, bug reports, test reports);
• experience with HTML, Web Services, API (REST) testing;
• strong client-server architecture and networking concepts understanding;
• familiar with networking protocols and methods experience in client-server applications testing;

You will be a part of the team that is responsible for the quality of a huge and complex SOA based information system of a telecom provider. You will be responsible for the manual testing of mobile UI and RESTful API.
Our client is a telecommunication company that provides 4G LTE services. Work in a team of 15+ QA Engineers who assure the quality of applications on Android, iOS platforms and RESTful-services in cooperation with a back-end QA team. Requirements:

• Higher education (technical);

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation frameworks for networking products, including switches, routers, smart NICs, and DPUs
• Develop and execute test plans for networking products to ensure they meet quality standards, including functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that test automation is integrated into the development process and that issues are detected and addressed on time
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for test automation and quality assurance in the networking industry
• Lead and mentor other members of the Quality Assurance and testing teams
• Active involvement in open-source communities related to networking products
• Research market trends in the networking industry and align test automation strategies with customer product needs

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with a focus on test automation and scripting
• Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with other scripting languages
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages, such as pytest, Robot Framework, and unittest
• Experience working in the networking industry, specifically with switches, routers, smart NICs, and DPUs
• Experience with open-source networking operating systems and software, such as SONiC, DENT, Linux, Open vSwitch, and DPDK
• In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and architectures, including L2/L3 switching, routing, load balancing, and security
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VXLAN
• Strong understanding of the configuration and operation of switches, routers, smart NICs, and DPUs
• Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and architectures such as OpenFlow and OVSDB

We are looking for a QA Specialist who is a guru in all stages of the manual testing starting from analysis of the project scope and creation of the test plans to completion of the functional, front-end and cross-browser testing and preparation of the reports. The specialist would have some exposure to automated testing tools in the areas of functional testing, API testing and load testing.

You will be assigned to the project teams delivering complex compelling eCommerce implementations working with team members in different locations.

Key responsibilities:

• Review of the project scope artefacts (JIRA tasks, specifications, etc) and preparation of the test plans.
• Maintenance of the test plan templates for current versions of the platform to reflect the standard set of features.
• Manual testing as per the test plans (alignment with the designs, cross- browser testing, functional testing), preparation of the reports and lodging the corresponding tickets in Jira.
• The configuration of the automated test tools (Cypress, Selenium or Postman- based) and performing the testing. Identification of the issues/bugs and documenting them in Jira.
• Review of the issues marked as resolved by developers.
• Mentoring of junior QA specialists.

About you:

• 3+ years of experience in manual testing.
• 1+ years of experience in automated functional and API testing (Cypress/Selenium/Postman).
• 2+ years of experience of testing of transactional and eCommerce projects.
• 1+ year of experience of working with Magento, Adobe or other eCommerce platforms.
• Experience and proficiency in preparing the test plans leveraging the project documentation and collaboration with the development team.
• Understanding and experience in different testing phases.
• ISTQB certification (Foundation or higher).
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic Extract/Transform/Load and MySQL skills.
• Understanding of API integration, standards and protocols.
• Understanding of testing strategies for different development artefacts.
• Atlassian suite including JIRA/Confluence/Bitbucket.
