Experience & Background

• Proven experience in a leadership role (e.g., team leading roles with business expertise, senior executive, or similar), preferably in education, edtech, or IT.
• 5+ years of experience within education, edtech, or IT.
• Strong expertise in operations management and business strategy.
• A track record of leading teams, driving growth, and managing budgets.
• Experience with board governance and stakeholders relations is a plus.
• Familiarity with grant management is a plus.
• C1 level of English is required.

What you’ll do:

• Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software developers;
• Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance;
• Assembling and leading the project team;
• Ensuring each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines;
• Creating a project budget and ensuring the project adheres to the budget as closely as possible;
• Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of completion;
• Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information;
• Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks on the products’ performance.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field;
• 3+ years of proven experience in project management and software development;
• Experience working in a remote, distributed team-based delivery environment, preferably in agile scrum teams;
• Good working knowledge of project estimation techniques;
• Knowledge of various project management tools, such as Jira, and Confluence;
• Solid leadership, decision-making, and organization skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, at least upper-intermediate English;
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Will be a plus:

• Experience working on Salesforce projects;
